Wow. Like a big, juicy ice-lolly in the rain, this bold and beautiful boots by knitwear queen Sonia Rykiel bring just a hint of summer to the coldest part of the year. They’re quite different from a lot of other ankle boots you’ll find on the high street or indeed anywhere but who said shearling boots had to be dark and solemn anyway?
The faux-fur textile interior is particularly eye-catching, with its fun monochrome pattern, but it’s the crepe heel that really caught our attention: this is a style trapping so often associated with summer, yet it works a treat on these snuggly boots.
