With a 4 inch heel and a 1.5 inch platform by the toe, this is a gentle slope. The heel is not cork or an espradrille-style rope. The color scheme is simple. The leather looks high quality. The ring on the top is cool. It comes in basic black and brown. The only thing is that it’s a bit expensive for such a simple shoe. But if you’re willing to pay for simplicity and the absence of bling in combination with quality, I think this is a nice summer find.

Kate Middleton Loves Melissa Odabash Bikinis!

SPOTTED: Kate Middleton and Prince William in Ibiza, Spain!  The bride and groom-to-be were spotted lounging on a yacht off the coast of Spain, enjoying the beautiful Mediterranean waters.  The paparazzi had a field day and snapped shots of Ms. Middleton’s royal bikini bod!

There are a ton of neutral shoes out there this spring. Some are quite lovely while others are just kind of,  ‘meh’.

Today, I find myself on the fence with these ‘Opulence’ caged sandals from Jimmy Choo.

I like how the understated beige tone makes these feel  a lot less bossy than would be the case than if they were in a black or metallic material. I also like how the rose has a softening influence and is playing against the rigid lines of the squared, quasi-gladiator upper. Yet, I’m still just lukewarm on these.  I don’t hate them, but I’m not falling in love with them, either. Maybe they are still
