Leighton Meester in Christian Louboutin “Venus” booties and part of something that might be a dress

Working on a show that attempts to showcase it’s stars as fashionistas, the likes of Blake Lively and Leighton Meester end up being put in quite interesting pieces – both on and off set. Sometimes, I seethe with jealousy over the clothes they get to wear. And then there are days like these:
The colour’s nice. But it’s quite clearly half a dress. And all the cutouts combined with the shiny, satin material are leading me to believe this is actually some kind of cybernetic hussy costume. A skankbot, if you will.

I’m generally not a huge fan of any kind of sneaker/high heel hybrid, however, I actually find these to be quite charming. Most sneaker/heel hybrids end up looking a little juvenile, but I find the metallic suede on these keeps the look classy, while the colours keep it fun. What do you think?
