Last night, country star Miranda Lambert broke out not one but four gorgeous Sherri Hill gowns at the annual Country Music Awards — where she took home four awards!
Lambert, who was celebrating what turned out to be a memorable 27th birthday, was the night’s big winner: She took home awards for Female Vocalist of the Year, as well as for best song, video, and the coveted album of the year award, for her 2009 record Revolution.
Lambert has been working her way up the ranks of the country music world for nearly a decade, but last night she cemented her status as the industry’s rising star. Luckily, she was well-outfitted for the occasion.
Lambert turned out as many dresses as she did awards: the young country star partnered with designer Sherri Hill to create four custom frocks for the night — ranging from a classic floor-length magenta gown (at left), to a festive white fringed number, to a short, corseted piece that embellished with chain metal fringe, to a nude crystal and beaded rock’n'roll mini.
