Supreet here, just turned 21-years-old, and becoming more fashionable by the day. Seeing as this my first post, I’ll start by explaining my style a bit. I have learned the way to streamline one’s closet is to describe your style in three short phrases and no more. It can be phrases like “grungy rocker chick” or “Parisian feminine.” I like to think of my style as “Hollywood glamorous, backseat baddass, and laidback cool”. It’s a combination of all these styles, with minimalism overtones thrown into the brewing pot. So when I hit the outdoor bazaars, malls, and online shopping, I keep these three phrases in the back of my head, and if I see something I am not sure about, I think of these three key phrases and see if they fit under any of them – if they don’t, I usually drop them because they won’t help me create a cohesive wardrobe. These are just, however, guidelines for those on a budget, or those you want their closet to make sense, sometimes it’s worth to take a fashionable plunge – you’ll never know what unexpected accessory, dress, pair of boots can elevate your style to true chicness.
